10 Video Games We Want To See On Film

Member the games you used to play? We member. The basement at the Hardcore Gamer office has a section known as the Crust Room, with an old grey couch and a big old CRT TV. All the classic systems are down there collecting dust, so in an effort to improve the cleanliness of our work space, we dust off these old consoles every so often and put an old game through its paces, just to make sure everything stays in working order. In the days leading up to E3, the news broke that both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 were years away from launch . After learning this, many assumed this meant that neither game would show up at E3. However, Kingdom Hearts 3 actually did get a new trailer, whereas Final Fantasy 7 Remake wasn't even mentioned. There have been rumblings that Final Fantasy 7 Remake has undergone some serious development struggles behind the scenes, but hopefully those fears will be put to rest the next time we see the game in action, whenever that may


Considering this, some may have expected Nintendo to announce Super Smash Bros. Deluxe or something along those lines at E3. While a port of the Wii U Super Smash Bros. would have been the most likely scenario, though, some fans are keeping their fingers crossed that the Switch gets a completely original version of Nintendo's popular fighting g


Controlling combat is the familiar button mashing affair that gamers are used to with Fable . Battles normally boil down to repeatedly hitting the X button (melee attack) with the occasional magic spell thrown in for good measure. The combat can get boring quickly, but every now and then the hero pulls out a fancy finishing move that makes it worth not checking out during battle. The problem is the finishing moves are completely random and players can do the same combat actions 10 times yet only see the finishing move o


Originally slated for release this fall, Red Dead Redemption 2 was recently delayed into next year. Even so, the game really isn't all that far off in the grand scheme of things, so one would have imagined that Rockstar would have used E3 to give fans a deeper dive into its gameplay features, story, and characters. On the contrary, Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn't seen during any of the big press conferences, and since it could launch before next year's E3, it may never be seen at the show at


To be fair, we were warned ahead of time that Death Stranding wouldn't be at E3 2017. Even so, Hideo Kojima's reputation for tricking fans meant that there was still a slim possibility the game would make a surprise appearance during Sony's E3 press conference. Unfortunately, Death Stranding was nowhere to be seen at the show, meaning fans are still largely in the dark about its gameplay features, story, and whether or not there is any truth to the Emma Stone casting rumo


Of course, I did not have the time nor the patience to get through every single game that came out this year. That means some notable releases like Resident Evil 2, Gears 5 , and DualShockers ' Game of the Year Judgment did not make my list. Some great Adventure Games Guide were also just barely beat out, but I'd still recommend Ape Out, Baba is You, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11 if you are looking for a good time. There were many secrets to discover in Albion, which was necessary to pad out the game. The main story campaign was short by RPG standards, so having optional side quests and secrets added value to the title. Demon doors would have treasures such as legendary weapons if you could solve the riddle to open them and there were many silver keys scattered across the land they were needed to open silver treasure boxes. They may have have fixed this in the subsequent reissues of Fable, but in the original Xbox version there was a glitch to get unlimited silver keys. This worked by getting a key, doing a hero save but not a world save and then load the file. The character will have the key in their inventory and the key will be waiting to be collected in its original spot.
